Pleading Unity
Always be gentle and humble,
So that you no longer stumble;
Also being patient and kind,
Which is giving you peace of mind.
Lovingly accept each other,
Just like your sister and brother;
Through the peace you will form a bond,
That takes relationships beyond.
Do your best to keep unity,
It gives greater ability;
To remain one in the Spirit,
In each thing that you will merit.
You were called for sharing the hope,
Which merely means that you must cope;
With the problems that surround you,
As you uphold to remain true.
There is one baptism one Lord,
One faith to be in one accord;
One God and one Father of all,
There to comfort when you do fall.
There is a purpose for each bone,
And none of them ever work alone;
That same is for everyone,
Having work that has to be done.
No certain part must ever quit,
Because Christ got each part to fit;
For through Jesus Christ we unite,
Because He is the one true light.
