'' Pure And Abhorrent Greed ''
Stocks and shares around the world,
Are crashing through the floor,
As the banks go out of business,
It's the worker who feels it sore.
While the eurozone is in a mess,
It's enough to bring on depression,
While our Coalition lectures them,
They've took us back into recession.
The politicians who created this,
Along with the fat cat plonkers,
Then tell us not to panic,
They must think we're all bonkers.
If they knew what they were doing,
Then disaster wouldn't strike,
Yet they tell us all our money's safe,
Believe that if you like.
While they're still making billions,
It's our lives they disrupt,
The fact we lose our jobs and homes,
Proves these bastards are corrupt.
Just a few short years ago,
While everything was fine,
The price of oil rocketed,
That should have been a sign.
The money men were on the move,
They were after our hard earned cash,
By manipulating the markets,
They'd cause an almighty crash.
They buy the shares for next to nowt,
Then hold them for a while,
While taxpayers money props them up,
They sell then live in style.
It's difficult for the ordinary guy,
To really understand,
That all because of a greedy few,
Our finances get so out of hand.
When oil prices go through the roof,
The cost of living rockets,
When they fall back dramatically,
Nothing goes back in our pockets.
Capitalism just does not work,
If the working class only knew,
It just creates a super rich,
An elite of just one or two.
So open up your eyes today,
See them for what they are,
They don't care what happens to us,
This behaviour is quite bizarre.
Taxpayers will have to bail them out,
We do it all the time,
What the bankers do is criminal,
So why is it not a crime.
Nationalisation to the rich is wrong,
Free markets are a must,
That's until their businesses crash,
Then we must save them going bust.
Bonuses larger than a lifetimes wage,
Accountability well there's none,
We let the bastards rob us blind,
To them it's all just fun.
As they walk away with our millions,
It really isn't fair,
While they spend all their ill gotten gains,
We're left in total despair.
As markets then increase again,
They'll reach a record high,
Speculators will then make their move,
Once again the markets will die.
The circle then starts up again,
It's never done through need,
The one and only reason is,
