 ~REFLECTING MOMENTS~

-------paused-------

...we remained calm
under certain circumstances
tho sometimes our breastbone
moved, with a certain crash!

Our host wore a plastic uniform
it reminded me of a giant condom
you had to see it, I guess?

We explored day and night
between the bricks and cracks
of a worn down city.

There was a constant drizzle
between the yellowing sheets
of lamp lights, we strolled
with no worry upon our hips.

We paused for chit chat
and a puff of an exotic cigarette
exhaling a constant silent need;

The need swelled between our thighs
but we ignored the urges to tuck into
a seedy corner of a dark dank alley!

Another dive, another drink,
would we ever move upon our desires
or slide outside our cautious bondage?

Time would tell,
in a perfect world.

Half past 1:00am we glance the neon clock
that reflects age and secrets;
Glassy eyed and spent from a day at the office,
a quivering smile and a: "See ya" ~an inner thought~
"maybe tomorrow"
we wink, acknowledging the glimmer
and turn to the door,  ...to just part ways
