Happiness is LoveAnswer me when I call, O God of righteousness; You freed me from my fall, And assured blessedness. Have pity on me Lord, While hearing my prayer; Not letting be ignored, What I eagerly share. I am not a key man, But it hurts my honor; Not seeing in Your plan, A place for a fawner. So how long will You love, Seeking what is a lie; Come from the throne above, And look me in the eye. You will see heart and soul, Truth and sincerity; I let You take control, For Your captivity. The Lord hears when I call, I shake but do not sin; He lifts me when I fall, Before darkness sets in. I fall asleep in peace, And lie for You alone; Making the torment cease, With watching from Your throne. Copyright © 2012 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
