 ~REFLECTING MOMENTS~

somethings gotta give  




Losing faith
upon loose ground
dodging deep holes

Searching for four leaf clovers
between the weeds and dead flowers

Certain urges
bend me at the waist

Avoid all that crumbles

I tremble when I sleep
and my dreams are real

Coming to terms
inside a little world
holding onto my huge brain storm

The light bulb flickers
as does the midnight candle

Running out of ink

The bald bird cries
for all the dead birds

Someone is taking flight
and someone is trying to
as they teeter on a ledge
of forget me not

We have bigger things to realize
when we hit the earth running
to a place where we've never gone

Just on the other side
we been but have forgotten

They will never remember
nor shall I-
