Our True Enemy
Please be strong in the Lord,
From all His strength and might;
Being in one accord,
For fighting the good fight.
Put on the full armor,
That our Lord supplies;
Guard against the charmer,
With his deceitful lies.
This is no wrestling match,
Nor a heavyweight fight;
But the big prize would snatch,
Your soul out of the light.
For the powers of dark,
Still do govern this earth;
Where evil does embark,
With an immoral mirth.
We wrestle with swayers,
Of a darker power;
Deceivers and players,
Bombard us each hour.
Take the armor of God,
The full armor He gives;
That hides where you are flawed,
And shows their false motives.
Then you can take a stand,
During these evil days;
For blocking their demand,
About their wicked ways.
