AN INTIMATE ARRANGEMENT
Feminine finger tips
curiously move...
knowingly... touching black gloss
and ivory
...An instrument of dead Mozart
someones tickling a piece
of an intimate arrangement
deception in the air...
These hallways resound
melodies of chaos and order
to which I float upon
What loveliness
that I rehearse as if levitating
upon wisps and waves of music
Mimicking those ghosts
of yesteryear
and revealing my own spirit
The echo of an awakening
and the beginnings of body movement
to slip from all that binds
Tonight beyond the silver screen
I give you my cashmere kiss
...And perhaps my last dance
Blushing behind the grand red door
The Gargoyles are smiling
inviting an electrical storm
and it shall arrive
like a clapping audience
With great anticipation
the people will applaud
and the earth shall tremble
Give me my thunder...just I whisper
There is no more time to weep
my lips quiver
with scarlet color
I invite my past
present and future
No one seen the animated rose
as it unfolded it's center
and placed it's petals...just so
First impressions
caress the eyes
and brush across
the breast bone
Give me these gratuity's
lemon grass to fall upon
with pillows of lavender
`Tho we have yet to see
inside this secret stage
beneath an amethyst ceiling
with glittering stars
I am vulnerable sometimes
the elements and I
we press and blend
We become that flower
between the pages of forever
for someone to remember
My chemical makeup is different
it always... has been
Behind closed doors
at the hour of a velvet midnight
I am the one with a chrome mask
waltzing... all by myself...
...dressed in a gown of white
