      Where Dragons Begin

Tonight the shadows are especial dark and cold
bringing dragons once again to my lonely soul
Oh! How I pine for yesterday, for today I question
my sanity as the years decay, my aging memory
leaving few that I once knew; so you see,
time is no man’s friend but, life as we all
know must someday, sadly end where
dragons begin.
