The Harvest of the Earth
I saw an angel overhead,
With the great Good News to be spread;
The news that is a priceless worth,
For everyone on the earth.
The angel said in a loud voice,
The time is now let us rejoice;
Time to fear God and give glory,
To hear the rest of the story.
It is not time to hold a grudge,
Rather with an impartial judge;
Decide on what was said and done,
At the point whence time had begun.
Worship the One who made the sea,
Kneel and confess to make your plea;
Worship who made Heaven and earth,
Thank the Lord that He gave you birth.
Babylon fell from drinking wine,
Having orgies after they dine;
And the other sexual sin,
That was corrupting them within,
They worshipped statues of a beast,
Before and after of their feast;
Branded like cattle for slaughter,
After incest with a daughter.
God sees much of the same right now,
Acting not as man but as cow;
The time is right for the harvest,
Death to cattle into battle.
