The Cornerstone
I am never frozen,
Within my point of view;
Rather being chosen,
For things that I must do.
Jesus is on His throne,
And I firmly believe,
He is the cornerstone,
Of all that we receive.
For I am not ashamed,
Knowing honor belongs;
To all that have proclaimed,
In Gospel and songs.
Stones that builders reject,
Are now the cornerstones;
Stones that many neglect,
Conceived as dried up bones.
People trip on the Word,
In faith they will refuse;
Closed ears from what is heard,
Criers falsely accused.
Some find it offensive,
For having disbelief;
But I am defensive,
Finding them a new leaf.
You are chosen people,
And a royal priesthood;
Go proclaim the Gospel,
As the living stones should.
