Nevermore

Oh, yes, how your children have grown.
They lead the dream thought for you and me.
How they change like the leafs you loved to see.
But your days of gray are tucked away.
To touch you, my dear, nevermore.

Oh, yes, how things have changed for me.
They say I have found no one to blame.
How I wish you could say if that's okay.
But the sounds have been buried away.
To touch you, my dear, nevermore.

Oh, yes, how I feel age today.
How I hoped for you to fade this way.
They say the days are left only to me.
But I will now forsake them away.
To touch you, love, forevermore.
