Through Christ
God has saved us from the power,
Of the darkness that grips the night;
Sweetened us whence we were sour,
For bringing us into the light.
It is the Kingdom of His Son,
To whom He loves also adores;
A battle that the Lord had won,
Against the tempter and his lures.
His Son paid the price made us free,
Which means that sins are forgiven;
With an invite to you and me,
For a passage into Heaven.
Christ is of the very image,
Of our invisible God;
Whom we worship and pay homage,
The firstborn we honor and laud.
For He allowed all to have birth,
Visible and invisible;
Both in Heaven and here on earth,
Audible and inaudible.
Whether they might be lords or kings,
Regardless of power and might;
Onto each one that the Lord brings,
Them even closer to the light.
He existed prior to all,
For holding it all together;
And before Adam had his fall,
Before there was adverse weather.
