Sorrow DissolvedAs I lay under the old evergreens by the lake shore crying in deepest sorrow and pain in the dark moonless night you came to me with loving care and concern to lift my awful burdens and dry my bitter tears with your sweet love. With a gentle caress of your delicate hand upon my tear stained cheek you took my shaking hand in yours as you held me close you sweetly whispered in my ear that everything would be alright and that my bitter tears of sorrow and grief would soon pass and joy would return so that this torment I would know no more. And as your sweet compassion filled my heart with hope my terrible agony disappeared with the delicate brushing of your lips against mine returning to me the joyful bliss that for so had long eluded me.
