Nearing time
You know the times in which we live,
With temptations running active;
It is just a matter of time,
Running ramped with so much crime.
It is time for you to awake,
Smell the coffee for your own sake;
The time has come so many fear,
If the end time is almost here.
Salvation is nearly at hand,
If you abide by His command;
Because you are a receiver,
If you are a true believer.
For the night is nearing its end,
And the Father prepares to send;
His only Son within the light,
Total blessings within His sight.
Get rid of the things of the dark,
Prior to going to embark;
On the cloud with the Lord your King,
With the Salvation He will bring.
But you be ready for a fight,
With weapons that are from the light;
And live decently and obey,
Living in the light of the day.
Because you are a new creature,
So give up your sinful nature;
Get rid of earthly desires,
By dousing the lustful fires.
