A Clear Voice
A Clear Voice
Let us build a city,
That you will not see fall;
Such rock that looks pretty,
Towers support the wall.
The nation we still own,
We commit our lives;
To the one on the throne,
But time soon Christ arrives.
So we devote to Him,
Surrounded by His peace;
No long feeling grim,
As hostilities cease.
We built the city well,
With strong and sturdy doors;
This will be where we dwell,
From temptations and lures.
No one except the Lord,
We will honor and laud;
And never be ignored,
Knowing that He is God.
He burnt foreign idols,
And broke down the columns;
To destroy what kindles,
Giving His ultimatums.
Each time I hear His voice,
Coming down from above;
I just have to rejoice,
Feeling His peace and love.
