Friends That Sharpen
Perfume and incense,
Will make the heart glad;
But putting up a fence,
Makes neighbor feel sad.
Sweetness of a friend,
Is a pleasant smell;
Friendships not to end,
At where they do dwell.
Never abandon,
A friend that is true;
His dad do not shun,
To be there for you.
Be wise make the heart glad,
So you will respond;
To insults and not sad,
Of those who have conned.
If you bless a friend,
In early morning;
You curse at the end,
Without a warning.
Quarreling woman,
On a rainy day;
Control if you can,
And wind will obey.
If God is my choice,
Iron is my tongue;
And with a sharp voice,
Sharper words are flung.
