         I Will Miss
I will miss the spring rain as it gently falls.
I will miss the aroma of the early morning
flowers as they grow tall.
I will miss the summer breeze blowing through
the old oak trees.
I will miss the voices of children playing in piles
of autumn leaves.
I will miss the bright sunrise and the colorful sunset.
I will miss the snowy mountain tops and the eagle
soaring high in God’s clear blue sky.
I will miss winter’s snowy gown and Christmas sounds
in the crisp early morning air.
But, I will miss you my darling most of all, when I must
say goodbye once and for all!
