 ~REFLECTING MOMENTS~

...fade to black

Something is hindering my ability
to overcome this state of mind
it has been an awkward time of events

I have been humble and reverent
for this momentum arrival
of crippling sadness

To tread upon an ancient path
of blood and dust of glory
and the great fight of life

We the people flock together
scramble minded and beaten
we seek answers to our depression

We have been integrated and degraded
with the slaughter of compassion
so said our stability has fled us

Without and chemically hungry
I will myself into flagellation
driven by depths of an empty pit

To which should be heavy
with the food of joy and life
contrary to this a vacancy growls

And I bend at the knees
emotionally ruptured and attached
to this constant crusade

Forgive me for my distress
I am struggling to breathe
as all fabrication suffers my fading
