A pathway too war

Once more the rich claim their rights to our future
settling their debts with the sweat of us all
leaving the streets littered with those feeling hunger
while business progresses in spite of our fall.

We are constantly told, “it's our fault” we suffering
“Too many scroungers depleting our worth”
but the money they talk of is never ours to grow strong with
the poor just get poorer from the day of their birth.

I often hear talk that mankind is learning…
but the problem is the content only taxes us more
for the more that we learn the more disillusioned
leaving us only with a pathway too war.
