From the Heart Through the Pen

yosph
Steady drowning in those blues
Every since my interest they drew
What a pretty portrait she's become
Lost at sea
Bound, yet struggle free
No hope for recovery
It's no wonder I love this ocean
I'm in so deep
And I wanna sing live like Mr. Ocean
Cause she has me so complete
Thinking about her
Still
No clue how she does this to me
Looking up and I see their replica
No clouds in sight
Best vacay under this sun but it's
Her beauty I'm basking in
There's finishes for every start
But I'm not asking when
She pulls me in
Close enough to see her soul
Tells me to make her heart whole again
Cause she wants it stole again
Before I begin its new mold
I close my eyes
Letting my fingers trace its scars
Realizing I'm touching
A living masterpiece of art
Feeling her pulse through my tips
How do I get her to glimpse
The beauty my fingers has in their grips
Then I get this revelation
So I take her hand in mine
We gently touch
Every bruise and blemish
Even get into cracks and crevices
I told you before there was no hope
That's because that love she creates
Never diminishes
So back to her heart
I threw the chisel away
Got the needle and thread instead
Took a chunk of my own
Began to sew away
Filling her hearts crevices and cracks
She asks just what it is I'm doing
I told her I'm making it whole again
Before I can hold it again...
Her jewels light up and catches my gaze
Oh boy, Here We Go Again...
That spark
Can you feel the blaze
In an instant I'm in so deep
Back out to sea on this journey
Never regreting becoming a stowaway
Best thing to ever happen to me
