Lord, Humbly You came in
a meek and lowly barn
only a few witnessed Your Birth
as a small baby boy You where born.

From Deity and a throne You came
choosing the very things that was bare
even though You walked where angels trod
from that to sheep lying in the manger there.

Mary held You in her arms
pondering You in her heart
cherishing You she knew that
one day You would have to part.

As  humble as You came in
the way You left was even more
they spat upon You and then crucified You
paying our price You settled our score.
