How the world sees AmericaNo punches pulled as I try to give an objective view, How the people of this world may give comment on you, Your collective idiosyncrasies alas make no sense at all, Our planet enjoys an annual autumn, yanks just have a "fall". Affluence buys influence, land of the rich not the free, Where your nation's health system is secured for a fee. Medical help should be available to all of its' masses, Not a special privilege to the middle and upper classes. The right to bear arms, second amendment most Americans say, Don't tell me you buy a gun, not intending to use it one day, Violence will only beget violence, its' monkey see, monkey do, Supporting a delusion of defence with a gun, is not really true, Why do you change a language with a universal appeal, You alter its phonetic spelling, tell me what is the deal?, Your tendency to be xenophobic, blind beyond your shore, Will give us an impression of arrogance, need I say more, Some still divided by colour, racism still rears its' ugly head With cultures and religions dictating who sleeps in your bed, You may have the might to win wars, but never win the peace, Just learn how to assimilate, and cease being the world's police Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
