SHE (We Find Her To Be A Disservice)

she writes about herself too often
we are bored
the thoughts that are rattling in her head
should stay there

she talks a bit too passionately
we are affronted
the ideas she is espousing are best
left alone
we prefer silence

she laughs a bit too loudly and too often
we are mortified
life should be taken more seriously
and what about her credibility

she cries over little nothings
we are embarrassed
we lack a certain connection to the centers
of ourselves
but point a crooked finger whenever it suits
our lack of sensitivity

she makes us rather nervous
with her needless emotionality
we find her company a disservice
and hence,
we must let her be.
