The Lord appointed me, To spread so others see; For the same as my views, All about the Good News. God already promised, In which I can attest; Was told through His prophets, Of every facet. This Good News of His Son, Knowing what to be done; Our Lord Jesus Christ, Had to be sacrificed. In His human nature, And born a new creature; Descendant of David, Having to die naked. Declared the Son of God, Who we honor and laud; Spiritual and holy, The straight and narrowly. After dealing with strife, He did come back to life; Such a powerful way, Just as the prophets say.
