We have passed from death to life, For the love of believers; Though still in the midst of strife, And still amongst deceivers. If you do not grow in love, Then you are remaining dead; With no passage to above, But stay in darkness instead. If you do hate your brother, Then you committed murder; Since no love for another, Your life shall be no further. What love is when we realize, That Jesus Christ had given; His life for to stabilize, Relationships with Heaven. So we must give our lives, Unto other believers; When Christ returns and revives, Those died and are receivers. If another is in need, And we have more than enough; We must never think of greed, When believers have it tough. So we must show our love, That God has been flowing down; Showing that others care thereof, For a smile from their frown. Copyright © 2012 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
