We do not become discouraged, Through His mercy God has given; Rather we are more encouraged, Of His ministry up in Heaven. We refuse to use shameful ways, Or perform any secret tricks; Making a cause that someone strays, Or become lost in a matrix. Sometimes it maybe sounds uncouth, But we do not distort His Word; As we clearly reveal the truth, In everything you heard. So if the Good News that I tell, Is not the same as others say; It might be covered with a veil, And that has only shades of gray. The god of this world has been blind, When he goes someplace to deceive; As he tries to play with the mind, Of anyone who does believe. But they will remain in the light, Because since they know the Good News; They know that they are in the right, Of the proper path that they choose. We are His servants of One God, As the light shines out of the dark; And that we will honor and laud, No matter where we will embark. Copyright © 2012 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
