Caught in the Web of Another Mindless Jerk
He laughed when you fell in his arms (silently and excitably),
So don't act as though you're alarmed and wonder,
"Why does this always happen to me?"
If you thought he could do no harm,
Well you were wrong again.
You know you will never leave them, (before the world steps in),
And why bother trying to change those men,
When their problems resonate deep within?
You don't belong to them my friend,
You don't belong with them.
They lie when they say they are wrong.
They only want to keep you around.
They want to drag you further along…
…And you will always get on the merry-go-round.
Is love merely an excuse for you?
Is love a pathetic excuse?
