what would jesus do
would he lie --cheat--or steal:
would he drink and drive--and get behind the wheel:
would he take drugs laugh about it smoke and joke:
would he profit by using and selling dope:
what would jesus do:
if he saw a homeless man down sad and blue:
would he just pass by and look the other way:
or would he at least pause and pray and find something nice to say:
would he do his best and reach out a helping hand:
would he at least be non-judgemental --pray and try to understand:
what would jesus do when his world came crashing down:
would he be beaten-and fall defeated and devastated to the ground:
or would he rise above it and stand strong:
and show the almighty father--with hope and faith he belongs:
would he pause and pray to give blessings to others even on his own worst day:
we know that would be his way:
when he is low down and out:
would he show the almighty father that compassion for others is what life is all about:
would he seek all the materialistic goods of the world and proudly brag and boast:
or would he be kind giving and generous with the almighty god our father as his host:
what would jesus do in a time of great hurt shame and pain:
would he grin and smile even through a down pouring rain:
what would jesus do if all was lost:
we know he would hold onto peace love serenity-faith hope and showgrace understanding compassion and have courage to forgiveatany cost:
jesus will look to heaven most high:
for all mans sins jesus took them alland on the cross for us he did die:
he prayed oh god thy father forgive them for they know not what they do:
to his last breath he stayed faithful hopeful and forgiving too:
god wants us to rise above our pain:
god wants us to overcome our shame:
god wants us to forgive seven times seventy with a heart loving and true:
god wants us to be humble compassionate and gracious in all we do:
what would jesus do when blessings come his way:
