Eternal life does come from God,
With testimony from the Son;
Someone skeptical is a fraud,
But believers know what was done.
For this life was found through His Son,
By having the Son you have this life;
And if in Christ then you are one,
While unbelievers have strife.
I wrote this for those who believe,
In Jesus as the Son of God;
For you know what you will receive,
When you heed to honor and laud.
We are confident that God hears,
When we ask for His acceptance;
Unlike a nonbeliever fears,
Because they have no confidence.
We know that to us He listens,
No matter what the quest may be;
For taking away the burdens,
And wipe the tears so we can see.
So we know that we do possess,
Of the things that we ask Him for;
Because of His love He will bless,
And if we confess He will cure.
All of unrighteousness is sin,
And there is sin not unto death;
But like cancer it eats within,
And life will cease past the last breath.
