Praise the Father of our Lord,
To whom we are of one accord;
As we worship and sing out praise,
With our voices that we raise.
God has given us a new birth,
While we wait for the new earth;
Because of His mercy and grace,
With His compassion to embrace.
We have been born in a life anew,
That has the confidence so true;
Which is alive since Jesus Christ,
Lives after being sacrificed.
We have been born in a new life,
Although still in the midst of strife;
We are given a confidence,
Which has our inheritance.
It cannot ever be corrupted,
Never destroyed or disrupted;
It shall not age or fade away,
Nor wither and die or decay.
It is being kept in Heaven,
Once entered it will be given;
You are guarded by His power,
And given you at that hour.
Through your faith for a salvation,
Ready to show the foundation;
And revealed at the end of time,
Whence having no more sinful crime.
