My heart is for certain,
and I would like to sing;
To make music often,
My soul knows who is king.
Wake up harp and lyre,
Let us wake up at dawn;
Assemble a choir,
Out in front on the lawn.
Let it be not ignored,
I want to give Him thanks;
Until all know the Lord,
Down past the riverbanks.
Make music as to praise,
God among the nations;
Lifting voices to raise,
To all His creations.
Please let me feel His embrace,
Through love He has given;
For His mercy and grace,
Is higher than Heaven.
His truth reaches the skies,
Glory covers the earth;
Believers become wise,
Of God and His true worth.
As His powerful hand,
Shields from a harmful blaze;
And through His own command,
Allowing the pure rays.
