'' Even Here In Heaven They Cause Strife ''

God created Adam who was lonely and sad,
Eden was a lonely place,
Being all alone was driving him mad,
He longed for a friendly face.

God came back and took one of his ribs,
Out of it he made a female called Eve,
Adam thought soon we'll be needing some cribs,
His luck he just couldn't believe.

One night with Eve he said lets make love,
His passion his beauty had aroused,
She turned to Adam and gave him a shove,
Saying you'll get nothing until you're deloused.

Adam was hurt but got himself cleaned,
Eve's reluctance he could understand,
When washed his efforts he reconvened,
She said this is getting out of hand.

He said, what now, it's you I revere,
I only have eyes for you,
She said it wouldn't be hard I'm the only one here,
My preference I'm afraid is a brew.

When they drank their tea Adam tried again,
Eve said no I've got P.M.T.
Another excuse you're driving me insane,
She said nothing in this life is free.

Then it was headaches and pains in her back,
Adams life was a terrible mess,
He told God, my sexuality is under attack,
You never warned me this would cause such stress.

He said, I need help Lord to lift my frown,
What she's doing should be classed as a crime,
Her refusal to make love is dragging me down,
The garden walls I'm beginning to climb.

God said, I gave you a partner in the image of mine,
As I also have my troubles to seek,
My passionate advances she will always decline,
I truly thought mine was unique.

Adam said to God you mean yours is the same,
He replied, I'm afraid the answer is yes,
Against your kingdom I am making a claim,
Unless Eve you now repossess.

You must take her back you have made a mistake,
This is something that needs to be changed,
I'd rather be living with a venomous snake,
The Good Lord said, I'll have that arranged.

God said I'm sorry but you're on your own,
You must always show respect for your wife,
I wish to Hell I'd remained alone,
