Nothing moves more quickly
than tears falling down the cheek
Be they tears of sorrow
Or yet those of laughter
The emotions of incoming
and those outgoing tides
That within this being hides
The doubt of what tomorrow brings
Winter melts away and spring approaches
Blue Jays and Robins are at the gate
I refuse to worry about what tomorrow brings
Nor does outgoing pain in tides linger
Leave the worries to those who wait
For I will travel this morning through the gate
and not stop to see the incoming tide
Let those in moving tears outgoing tide await
