The sky is dark now
And the night is here
There is a moon shining over the London bridge
It is beautiful to see
But it is getting late now
Yes the Big Ben chimed midnight and Londom is going to sleep
And perhaps I will fall asleep here
And sleep in total darkness
Enjoying the peace and quiet of the Thames at night
Though it is cold, I don't mind because
I am dressed for this kind of weather
It will be the best sleep I've had in years
