While they were still helpless,
Christ died for the ungodly;
Converting them to guiltless,
And giving them liberty.
Finding someone who would die,
For godly people is rare;
It might be a strong ally,
And so much that they would share.
Because while they were weak,
In due season Christ had died;
For the ungodly to seek,
They too should be crucified.
Jesus Christ had died for us,
While we were all still sinners;
For the love of God as thus,
Shows that we are the winners.
The blood of Christ is given,
As God gives His approval;
Upon His throne in Heaven,
Allowing sin removal.
Now certain that Christ will save,
Us from the Father and wrath;
And rescue us from the grave,
Guiding us down the lit path.
If death of His Son restored,
A relationship with God;
We must be in one accord,
As well as honor and laud.
So let us brag about Christ,
A relationship restored;
Whatever be sacrificed,
But never to be ignored.
