''My Cash Flow's Turned In To A Drought ''

I love the fact shops are all closing down,
No more constant moaning when we go into town,
Now her shopping bills will stay well down,
Now my wife will have to go without.

First day out in town and all the shops have shut,
In and out of stores I don't have to bust a gut,
The only problem is she is going off her nut,
All she ever does to me is shout.

My bills are rising fast they're bigger than I thought,
The credit card statement has left me rather fraught,
What in Gods name has my good woman bought,
This is turning into a bloody rout.

My wallet's bloody empty our bank account is dry,
I've asked the wife to stop but she won't even try,
This really is enough to make a grown man cry,
Every day is like a boxing bout.

Drivers every day delivering parcels to our door,
When the shops were opened this never went before,
The last time one arrived at my good wife I then swore,
My wife is now behaving like a lout.

How many bloody outfits does a woman need?
She says any more than ninety she'd agree is greed,
More than fifty pairs of shoes her space it would impede,
It's the laws of common decency she does flout.

Women can spend money without even trying,
When I ask what on she accuses me of prying,
To make matters worse my wife has started lying,
She's claiming she has always went without.

Be careful what you wish for there's a chance it may come true,
The closure of our High Streets will cause us men ado,
The online shopping networks I'm now going to sue,
