The Unhandy HandymanYou may think I am joking, but it puts my wife in a panic For me being a handyman is akin to surviving the Titanic, Whatever can go wrong occurs with a monotonous regularity, Why does it happen to me, my disasters now need clarity, Just hit the nail on the head, however I hit the one on my thumb, I am actually quite intelligent, but in practicalities I'm so dumb, That easy one hour job will become irrevocably more complex, The more I want resolution, it ends with more diabolical effects, I am good with my head yet I'm totally hopeless with my hands, We now call in a local professional that's the way it now stands, I read an abundant DIY books, keenly trying to improve my nous, Wife says “Only thing handy about me is I live in the same house”.
