You are not to feel ashamed,
Nor start to be forming pride;
Remember what you proclaimed,
And in His Word to abide.
Maybe countless guardians,
Who are tutors for the Word;
Are your coaching companions,
When your mind seems to be blurred.
You may feel like an orphan,
With no spiritual father;
But your job is not yet done,
With a spiritual brother.
So why not imitate me,
Look into my mind and heart;
Open your eyes so you see,
How easily we can start.
Forget what you must endure,
And live in the Christian life;
And not tempted by the lure,
While you ignore the strife.
Please do the work of the Lord,
As you use the truth to search;
Worship within one accord,
Continue growth of the church.
But do not become so bold,
So arrogant with power;
It is like we have been told,
Not knowing day or hour.
