Everyone be quick to hear,
Knowing the end is very near;
Being careful as slow to speak,
Knowing for sure just what you seek.
Be like God and slow to anger,
But motivated not of languor;
God does not have it in His plan,
Approves not of an angry man.
Stop your immoral behavior,
And give honor to your Savior;
Get rid of wicked things you do,
And to the Lord remaining true.
Humbly accept as in the Word,
Adhering to all that you heard;
For God has engraved in your heart,
Words that will save for to impart.
Do whatever the Word does say,
And do not deviate or stray;
Do not merely listen to it,
Do just as the Word will permit.
It is you that will be the fool,
If you do not follow each rule;
And will be you, who it will cost,
In which you will have gotten lost.
Look at the face in the mirror,
See the one that did the error;
As the one that will have to share,
With God of my regrets in prayer.
