He gathered the soldiers and tanks,
Then had a prayer for giving thanks;
Also for God provide the shield,
As his troops were crossing the field.
One thousand and four hundred tanks,
Were then set up within closed ranks;
Followed by twelve thousand troops,
Rank and filed in smaller groups.
The king made silver and gold as stones,
At the place where to hold the thrones;
Cedars were as sycamore trees,
That did sway in a gentle breeze.
They were brought up in front of the castle,
As the troops prepared for battle;
The king stood in the front of them,
To commend rather than condemn.
He said that he had his heart set,
Build a temple but did regret;
But suffered from a lot of guilt,
Because it had not yet been built.
For God said for to let the son,
Use his army to get it done;
Because his time was very nigh,
For him to be saying good-bye.
So we have to see first things first,
For going out to quench the thirst;
Follow directions of the Lord,
Never letting them be ignored.
For the road to greatness is near,
That some others might tread and fear;
For causing bloodshed in wars fought,
Since God guides us through the onslaught.
