Give an ear O Heaven,
And allow me to speak;
The words that are given,
Tells you just what I seek.
My teachings just like rain,
As my words drip from dew;
Gentle without restrain,
And showers that construe.
Because I do proclaim,
In the name of the LORD,
As I will light the flame.
To be in one accord.
Give greatness He deserves,
For He is our rock;
Straight and narrow no curves,
Praying freely to talk.
What He does is perfect,
And all His ways are fair;
I will never reject,
Each command He does share.
A God who does no wrong,
Faithful and reliable,
Comforting to belong,
He is honorable.
God knows we are corrupt,
No longer use His name;
Till we have developed,
A confession for to claim.
Devious and scheming,
How you repay the Lord;
He just hears blaspheming,
All his pleas are ignored.
But the day will come soon,
When the truth will be said;
As you look at the moon,
And see it a blood red.
