Will I ever know the answers to what bothers me?
As I have been lied to so many times you see,
My constant companions are doubts and fears
These tormenting thoughts reduce me to tears.
My mind is restless my thoughts can`t be stilled
And with each thought my doubts begin to build,
A doubting mind leads to a heart with a crack
My world once bright has now turned to black.
The torment the anguish the pain that I feel
Handling these feelings is quite an ordeal,
I sometimes wish with all of my might
That my mind could rest and end my plight.
My mind is constantly searching for clues
If there`s a shred of doubt it then pursues,
It will not stop it leaves no stone unturned
Will my peace of mind ever be returned?
Will peace ever be mine do you think?
Or will these doubts push me over the brink?
I hope one day they will just disappear
Taking with them my nagging fear.
