The desert and dry land are glad,
As the wilderness will rejoice;
No longer will be feeling sad,
Singing and lifting up your voice.
Like a lily the land will bloom,
It will rejoice and sing for joy;
Like a birth coming from the womb,
Happiness getting that first toy.
Strengthen limp hands and weak knees,
Tell the frightened to be brave;
They can put their minds at ease,
You will be rescued from the grave.
The Lord will come with vengeance,
When they try to cross your path;
For breaking your allegiance,
The Lord will pour out His wrath.
He will come and rescue you.
The eyes of the blind will see;
Life with sight will continue.
Existence able to be.
The ears of the deaf will hear,
Sounds that were silent before;
Voices that sound so sincere,
No longer behind a door.
The lame will leap like a deer,
And the dumb will start to shout;
Water will gush over the sand,
Flowing streams across the land.
Everlasting happiness,
With wearing a joyful crown;
A land filled with blessedness,
No more smile upside down.
