You must avoid the earthly things,
For ungodly pleasure it brings;
Pursue what the Lord approves of,
A godly life with faith and love.
As a Christian fight the good fight,
Doing what is proper and right;
Be a witness when you proclaim,
And are doing it in His name.
Take hold of everlasting life,
Be patient and tolerate strife;
Do not try to shed any doubt,
To which you were called to about.
You made a real good testimony,
True to life and not a phony;
In front of many witnesses,
About all of the instances.
In the sight of God who gives life,
Children unto man and his wife;
And every living creature,
With every little feature.
So in the sight of Jesus Christ,
Our Lord who was sacrificed;
To Pilate gave a testament,
Of the complete and true intent.
So until our Lord appears,
Obey this Law each one reveres;
Then no one can ever be blamed,
From whence the times you have proclaimed.
At the right time God makes it known,
From in Heaven upon His throne;
God is blest and only crowned head,
Still living but His blood was shed.
Lord of lords and the King of kings,
The peace and the love that He brings;
His Word does not and will not lie,
