'' I'll Be Forced To Fight Back ''
From bacteria to mammals there's a need to fight,
It's in our genes which is really quite odd,
The most intelligent species claim it isn't right,
Why, it contradicts the message of God.
Be it plants or animals we fight to survive,
As all living creatures must eat,
It's the only way we can stay alive,
To do otherwise would be a tremendous feat.
We fight for our rights we fight for our space,
We argue over what the other refutes,
This is not confined to just the Human Race,
All life forms are involved in disputes.
Some of us will only fight to defend,
While others will do it for fun,
Into full scale wars some will descend,
There are Humans who just live for the gun.
Watch as your cat throws that mouse in the air,
See the lions instilling great fear,
Bacteria fighting to gain a greater share,
Watch as the hyenas sneer.
The creator of life would surely have known,
That to fight is a normal conclusion,
In all living things this seed has been sown,
He's therefore guilty of gross collusion.
Fighting among ourselves is a way of life,
It's just the way we've been created,
Personally I think God strives on strife,
It must make him feel so elated.
He's killed millions by plagues, billions by floods,
Is that how love and peace are defined,
Covered us in boils and poisoned our bloods,
Sheer hypocrisy is what springs to mind.
The creator we're told is the ultimate being,
Yet aggression is the gene he instilled,
Why with his teachings should we be agreeing?
If mass conflict is what he has willed.
I have taken the time to let this God know,
That his philosophies are now under attack,
His response to me comes as a bit of a blow,
He says if you threaten me,
' I'll Be Forced To Fight Back '
