Living for God
God has been praised with silence,
Such an awesome excellence;
Vows made to Him must be kept,
Under rugs must not be swept.
He is the One who hears prayers,
The One everyone shares;
Because no need to feel grim,
When you go and share with Him.
Various sins overwhelm me,
And blinding so I cannot see;
But He will guide on the way,
So I do not start to stray.
He is the One that forgives,
And is in my heart He lives;
Since He is aware of the facts,
He forgives rebellious acts.
Bless the person who will choose,
The Word of God that He views;
And invites him to His home,
After life on earth stops to roam.
Awe inspired acts we see,
Done in righteousness with glee;
For God is our Savior,
Who looks on us with favor.
The hope for all of the earth,
Another chance for rebirth;
And of the most distance sea,
The roaring waves fancy free.
Waves crashing against the shore,
Like someone knocks on the door;
Christ appears and seems to still,
Calming the waves with His will.
