No more cold rain

I once walked down a lonely road,
Where the sun would never shine.
And all it seemed to ever do ,
Was pour cold rain out side.

My heart just felt so cold and lonely,
And the cold rain fell from my eyes.
Some time's they fell like a thunder
Storm, and I just wanted to die.

My body just had no feeling in it,
it seem that I didn't have a heart.
No one to ever love me honestly,
so from this world I wanted to part.

Why would I want to stay here,
When all I felt was so much pain.
And each and every lonely night,
All my heart would do is just rain.

Crying from being cold and lonely,
When all it wanted was to be loved.
To share in simple warmth & smiles,
And all the sweet laughter it heard of.

Well I never was a man who prays,
But last night I just feel to my feet.
And ask the good lord up above,
Is there any one out there for me ?

If there isn't any one out there,
Please lord just bring me home.
Just take my life deep in the night,
And burry me deep under the stones.

Well my prayer was never answered,
But my heart was warm as the sun.
And while looking out side my window,
In the green grass I just wanted to run.

I didn't understand what was happening,
Why am I as happy as a man can be.
What are these new found feelings I feel,
That are running though my entire body.

Well Later in that late evening ,
As I took a very long drive.
My life was soon to be change,
And I would no longer want to die.

Than it all happened so very fast,
Before my eyes this precious angel
Would be. A smile so sweet & lovely.
That just knocked the breath from me
