Making Life Decisions
As I become awake,
My God did not forsake;
The sun peaks at the hills,
As its light the sky fills.
I know that He is there,
His hand touches the air;
As it brushes my skin,
It pushes out my sin.
I see clouds scurry by,
As someone gives a sigh;
They know not the true God,
That I honor and laud.
Cats meow and dogs bark,
Chasing away the dark;
Hearing birds as they sing,
Proclaiming their hatchling.
So much of a delight,
Of the sounds and the sight;
This time of year would bring,
That we refer as spring.
It is a time to view,
All to be fresh and new;
And a life to decide,
A style to abide.
Once you have found your place,
God will then shed His grace;
Guiding you on your way,
As to not go astray.
But it is still your life,
With the toils and strife;
Which are merely a test,
To see you do your best.
