Heavenly Day
Starting a lovely day,
Seeing the morning light;
Though it starts out as gray,
It will turn nice and bright.
The birds chirping away,
Such a beautiful sight;
Watching babes not to stray,
To be safe and alright.
I see dogs and cats play,
And not wanting to fight;
All along the walkway,
Such a joy and delight.
There has to be a way,
Man to do what is right;
Be molded into clay,
That would be full of might.
Molded as to obey,
For God within His sight;
So then He just might say,
Well done my faithful knight.
But not to do what may,
And that would be alright;
For a home where we stay,
As everyone does unite.
No matter where you lay,
If by day or by night;
In hopes there is a ray,
That sin will no longer bite.
