Tomorrow is the Lord's Day

(a factual piece concerning the day belonging to the Lord Jesus Christ.)
Darryl had traveled for some distance to get to the church to honor the Lord on His Day.
He played his hymns on the CD player he had built in the car.
However, the music he heard coming up the way replaced the sounds he heard.
A choir was singing What A Friend We Have in Jesus.
Singing in acapella the choir sounded like it was from Heaven itself.
Joy had emanated his soul to touch someone close to him.
The brevity of the service was too brief.
But the people there were happy, serene, plus challenged to serve the Lord for another week.
Makes me think of the times I was in service as well.
There was really positive power comforting  the souls who heard the message.
Darryl left there recharged to face another week of work as he drove back across the country.
